The 6th ‘No Más Cataratas’ Charity Golf Tournament has been a very special event. We have held the tournament with the highest number of participants in our history, and we would like to thank all the individuals, companies and organisations that have made this possible.

Sponsors, partners, players and friends of the Elena Barraquer Foundation have come together, once again, to achieve something that goes far beyond a day’s golf: thanks to the funds raised, we will be able to restore sight to more than 500 people through cataract operations as part of our international cooperation projects.

Every shot, every entry, every sponsorship and every gesture of support becomes an opportunity for someone who is currently living with blindness that, in many cases, could be prevented by a procedure lasting just a few minutes.

And that is what makes this tournament so special. Because behind every figure there is a person who will be able to see their children again, work, walk unaided or regain something as simple — and as extraordinary — as seeing the world clearly.

When people and businesses come together for a good cause, the impact can be extraordinary.

And as we know that many of you will already be looking forward to the next one…
