Aisha, a Journey to Hope.

In 2025, the Elena Barraquer Foundation promoted the publication of the solidarity storybook Aisha, a Journey to Hope, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and supporting the Foundation’s medical outreach projects.

The book was written by Isabel López-Marín, ophthalmologist and member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and illustrated by Laia Arnaiz, with great artistic sensitivity. Through the story of Aisha and her journey to restore her grandmother’s sight, the book brings readers closer to the reality of avoidable blindness and to the work carried out by the Foundation in developing countries.

Each copy sold contributes directly to funding ophthalmic treatments, helping to restore sight and hope to people without access to medical care.

The book can be purchased by emailing info@fundacionelenabarraquer.com, indicating the number of copies requested and the delivery address, for a price of €10, or by calling +34 930 176 176.
