The Elena Barraquer Foundation and Enfinity Global, a leading renewable energy company, have signed a collaboration agreement whose motto is “Giving back the light to thousands of people”. The renewable energy company will support the work carried out by the foundation to restore sight to thousands of people in Africa and Latin America by sponsoring the uniforms used by members of the foundation on each of their trips.

“We share the same objective: at the Elena Barraquer Foundation we give back the light by operating on cataracts for blind people in developing countries, and Enfinity works to produce electricity from renewable sources, ensuring a more accessible and sustainable light,” said Dr. Elena Barraquer, president of the Foundation.

Energy is a “luxury good” in many of the countries where the Foundation carries out its expeditions. This agreement is intended to help, in the long term, not only to enable people to see and regain their dignity, but also to help society to work in better conditions.
