{"id":694,"date":"2019-06-26T11:27:54","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T11:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionelenabarraquer.com\/?p=694"},"modified":"2021-05-20T11:34:48","modified_gmt":"2021-05-20T11:34:48","slug":"dr-elena-barraquer-received-the-i-fundacion-rementeria-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacionelenabarraquer.com\/en\/dr-elena-barraquer-received-the-i-fundacion-rementeria-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Elena Barraquer received the I Fundaci\u00f3n Rementer\u00eda Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, June 21, the president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrementeria.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Remeter\u00eda Foundation<\/a>, Mrs. Mari Luz Capelo and Dr. Laureano \u00c1lvarez-Rementer\u00eda Capelo, presented Dr. Elena Barraquer with the I Remeter\u00eda Foundation Award in a moving ceremony, in recognition of her solidarity work \u201cto illuminate the lives of people around the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n Rementer\u00eda was born in 2011 from the need of the people who work in the Cl\u00ednica Rementer\u00eda and especially its founder, Laureano \u00c1lvarez-Rementer\u00eda, to share all the experience, knowledge and resources available in the clinic with the people who need it most. Laureano conceived from the beginning of medicine as a service, not as a business. This heart of solidarity leads him to practice selflessly and for people without resources inside and outside our borders.<\/p>\n<p>Marathons in which the task never ends because there will always be much left to do, but which feed the spirit and lay the foundations for what will later be ser\u00e1\u0301 Fundaci\u00f3n Rementer\u00eda.
