He approached us accompanied by his family as he couldn&#8217;t manage himself alone,\u00a0 result of an advanced bilateral cataract. It took only 20 minutes (10 minutes for each eye) for him to be able to walk alone, and once again smile (first photo). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Of course Derek is just an illustration of what we can do to help those that were deprived from the light. He represents the 281 smiles we saw in Uganda and the 10 thousands or more lives Fundaci\u00f3n Elena Barraquer changed thanks to their expeditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>It was an honour to be part of this by the side of incredible people.
